Atmospheric dust as a carrier of some harmful substances,not only caused a serious impact on the ecological system,which carries the heavy metals and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons but also a serious threat to human health,so the atmospheric dust pollution problem has become the focus of attention.Panzhihua city is a typical resource-based mining city,the development of mineral resources and the development of industry and mining have led to the problem of air pollution.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the pollution characteristics of atmospheric dust in Panzhihua and to identify the sources of pollution.More than and 90 atmospheric dust samples falling through the acquisition of Panzhihua region perennial accumulation,and combined with the principle and method of environmental geochemistry,trace element geochemistry and mineralogy,from the dust particle size,mineral composition,water soluble ion characteristics,microstructure characteristics and contents of heavy metals and chemical characteristics etc.a comprehensive study on the basis of this,further to identify dust sources,and get some preliminary conclusions.Panzhihua atmospheric dust size distribution between 10-50 ?m particles is fine,poor sorting,more than 2 ?m particles more than 95%,significantly affected by human activities.The dust particles in the form of complex,mainly spherical structure,block structure,layered structure,lamellar structure,columnar structure,there are also some irregular mineral aggregates and rules;the minerals are mainly dominated by quartz,feldspar,gypsum and the second,there are some carbonate minerals and titanium minerals,some samples the iron mineral content of the mining area and higher smelting area.Dust water soluble component of acidic,the maximum contribution rate of SO42-sulfate mainly exists in the CaSO4 form;NH4+ and SO42-are mainly combined with(NH4)2SO4 and NH4HSO4;NOX and SOX mass ratio is greater than 1,pollution sources of water soluble ions mainly for stationary sources.Dust in As,Cd,Cr,Cu,Pb,V,Zn contents exceeded the background values of Sichuan several times or even dozens of times,Zn and Cd of the bioavailable fraction reached 78% and 87%,great harm to human and environment,the residual content of Cr,Ni,Cu,As and other elements of the high that is relatively stable,including V,Cd,Zn pollution was the most serious;the heavy metal content of bingcaogang,melon seeds and Panzhihua Ping District with the highest,suburbs and Renhe district was the lowest;the average particle size of the overall total content of dust and heavy metals are negatively correlated.Industrial activities,mining,coal burning and traffic pollution are the main factors affecting the atmosphere in Panzhihua.
