Considering the functions of coordination polymers and the synthesis conditions, we designed and synthesized fourteen new coordination compounds on basis of different carboxylic acids and N-containing ligands using a hydrothermal or solution method. The study on synthetic conditions and rules for these new compounds, the exploration of relationships between structures and properties for these new compounds are also carried out. Elemental analyses, IR, TG and single crystal X-ray diffractions were used to characterize the compounds.1. Four new compounds [Cu(boeta)(phen)] (1),[Cu2(boeta)2(phen))3] (2),[Cu(boeta )2(phen)2](H2O)2 (3),[Ni(phen)]( boeta) (4),on the basis of BOET and phen have been synthesized using a water solution method and structurally characterized. The study on synthetic conditions and rules for these new compounds are also carried out. Magnetic properties of compound 2 have been studied.2 . Six new compounds [Ag4(4,4'-bpy)4(tdpa)(H2O)]·12H2O (5) ,[Ni4(4,4'-bpy)4(tdpa)2(H2O)4]·7H2O (6) , [Ag2(4,4'-bpy)1.5(tdpa)(H2O)] (7) [Ag2(dib)2(bpda)]·6H2O (8),[Cu1.5(dib)(bpda)1.5(H2O)]·4H2O (9),[Cd(pdca)] (10)。with different dimensionalities have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. The photoluminescence of the compounds were also investigated.3. Four new compounds[Co0.5(ppa)]·(0.5H2O)2 (11), [Cd(ppa)2] (12),[Cd(ppa) (idc)0.5]·0.5H2O (13), [Ag(ppa)2]·3.5H2O (14)。on the basis of PPC and transition metal ions have been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized.
