Polyoxometalates (Polyoxometalates, POMs) is a cluster with rich topology and property. It has wide application in catalysis, adsorption, photochemical, magnetic, and medical and other fields. In this paper,16 kinds of new supramolecular compounds were synthesized with the aids of solution synthesis and hydrothermal synthesis techniques. The synthesis conditions and rules of these compounds were studied. Supramolecular interactions between POMs skeleton with metal complexes or organic ligand were investigated. In addition, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, TG analysis and single crystal X-ray diffraction were exploited to characterize the composition of crystals, functional groups, thermal properties and crystal structures with the aim to relate structure and properties of synthetic compounds. The results show that a wide range of polyanions, structural stability, tunable composition, with strong derivatives capabilities, a variety of molecular compounds with excellent performance can be assembled. Different polyanions are obtained in different charge and pH condition. Organic ligands play different roles in the formation of hybrid compounds, its small differences of structure will affect in the different ways of coordination which causes the whole structure and properties of compounds is very different.
