Take mining areas in Zoucheng City as a case, reclaimed soil compaction characteristics, physical and chemical properties, synthetic soil quality were analyzed during the five years of land reclamation, while the reclamation effects with mushroom were discussed. The results showed that in the first year after reclamation, compaction of surface soil reached to the maximum, but decreased gradually. The content of organic matter, alkali N, available P was lower than that of the non-subsided land, while available K, pH value and EC value was significantly higher. Surface soil compaction and bulk density became lower with mushroom reclamation, but gradually increased along with the application time. Mushroom scrap could enrich the content of soil moisture, clay, organic matter, N, P, K and etc., while make alkalinity, salinity lower. At the same time, mushroom significantly improved the microbes in the surface soil, especially bacteria and fungi. The application of mushroom impacted much on the top soil quality but little on the subsoil.
