Being lacking of understanding of behaviors of circular working shaft, the paper proposed theory about ring-beam's load-distribution calculations and analyzed the structural behavior of circular working shaft ( CWS)by the numbers from the standpoint of properties of structural style and stress incorporated with thoughts of shared load introduced to research of CWS.First, regarding CWS as structure of series of hypothetic horizontal circular rings and vertical beams, and considering CWS's formation and development, the paper proposed load-distribution thoughts to solve CWS's calculations. Ring-beam calculation theory was put up and software CBTLMP1.0 was worked out based on the conditions of external applied load shared by rings and beams, and of deformation conformity.Secondly, the paper analyzed the behavior of isotropic and orthogonal anisotropic materials' CWS on the basis of above theory and software. Regularities of CWS' deformation inner force and shared load and earth pressure in excavating stage and driving stage were gained. Regularities influenced by material features top beam excavating depth sidewall depth properties of soil layers rear backing and location of load were also obtained, especially rules of display degree exerted by circular and vertical loads were also obtained. Finally, an example of circular jacking pipe constructed by SMW method was analyzed, CWS's specificity of material zoning in circular direction was clarified. The paper's main research findings are to propose ring-beam load-distribution theory provide CWS's calculation method and program software. CWS's deformation inner force regularities of load share and earth pressure were get. The paper provides approaches to calculate and analyze bracing of foundation pit in complex stress. Conclusions are to help engineers further understand performance of structure of circular bracing of foundation pit and CWS.
