The Xichang-Panzhihua express way is important part( form Lanzhou in Gansu province to port of Mohan in Yunnan province), which is one of eight of west big trunks projects by the Ministry of Communications, And it is also artery of road network in Sichuang province and main pathway from Shichuang province to Yunan province. The Xigeda strata is wide spread along the The Xichang-Panzhihua express way, Domestric didn't build express way on the Xigeda strata at present. The paper is on the base of item of teacher , The field work time lasts four months during Sars, finishing all works form tesu roadbed construction to stratify monitoring sedimentation. The study solves engineering problem as follows:(1)The systematic study on the historical course of Xigeda strata deposit and geologic environment includes strata, lithologic characters and constitution et in the Liangshan and Panzhihua region.The results show that The Xichang-Panzhihua express way is controlled by the Anninghe fault and the Xigeda fault, The earthquake frequently happen in the region of pass, The different sedimentation number is more great, They effect the road building, safety in operation and structure belong road(2)Because in some place the xigeda strata is foundation and roadbed , The study on the basic properties of the Xigeda strata include density,moisture content plastic and liquid limit graduation.the results show that the Xigeda strata is deposition in lake, The main component is mudstone and sandstone, The fine particle is main, It has some viscosity,The moisture content of mudstone is different the it of sandstone ,The other property are likeness.The Xigeda strata has no dilatation on total, Some claystone have low and medium dilatation;(3)The study on the basic properties of Xigeda filler include the composition of matter the biggest standard dry density ,, the optimum moisture contentThe results show that Xigeda filler can use as road material, It is well grade filler and admixture filler on essence, Its compaction index should change in different place because the property is controlled by mudstone and sandstone that change is great in different place;(4)The study on the Xigeda filler craft used as express way roadbed, includes suitable thickness, compaction numbers and methods and equipment choice et. The results show that the thickness of xigeda filler is 30 ~ 35cm,the number of compactionis 5 ~ 6, the mode of compaction should first stronger vibration . (5)The analysis factor that influence the compaction craft of the Xigeda filler;The results show that the optimum moisture content of xigeda filler is about 0.4 times of liquid limit and 0.69 times of plastic limit ,the lower compaction equipment is better than the big equipment. The coefficient of compaction is 1.22 on mechanical loader; (6)The analysis settlement of roadbed used the Xigeda filler, predict that tolerable settlementis 5.5cm,total settlement is 11.4cm,it is meet a criterion; (7)The analysis stable of roadbed used the Xigeda filler include water and slopeThe result show the xigeda filler is stable. The paper innovation are : (1)Xigeda strata formation is relation with that south west monsoon wind generation becauseTibetan Plateau uplift;(2)The Xigeda filler is a mixer road maiteral, the different content of mudstone and sandstone lead effect on the compacted index, and mudstone and sandstone are different in many place that road pass, so the compacted index should be dynamic change for the Xigeda filler; (3)Offer major compaction and minor compaction concept, when Xigeda filling material is used , The compaction technology is first strong vibration, then weak vibration, not weak vibration, then strong vibration, by norm.The research findings solved the difficult problem of project, The test is first to study Xigeda strata use to roadbed carrier, nearly millions Xigeda strata can use in build, save investment and reduce occupation land, accelerate build speed, fill-up void that The Xigeda strata use expressway filling material...
