This paper aims at the non-linear hybrid dynamic phenomena of power systems. It combined the subject "Hybrid Power Systems Modeling Research" (the serial number 20030079002) which is supported by The Research Found In Doctorial Subjects Of Higher Education. And it mainly studied the hybrid modeling and dynamic analysis methods of power systems using the modeling theory of hybrid dynamic systems. The paper developed a set of library of models based on Dymola using the object-oriented modeling language MODELICA. The main contributions are as follows:It analyzed and studied in-depth the hybrid modeling methods of power systems, defined some basic concepts of hybrid power systems, and proposed the GHPN(Generalized Hybrid Petri Nets) modeling method of hybrid power system and summarized the common modeling steps of hybrid systems.It proposed the hierarchical modeling structure of power system based on the object-oriented modeling language, deeply studied the representative methods of electric component models and the concepts of model's templates, and analyzed in detail the interconnection and implementation techniques of electric component models. At the same time, it also proposed the research technique of multi-domain models used in the whole-course dynamic simulation analysis of power systems.It utilized the GHPN modeling method and the abstraction technique to study the modeling process of computer distance protection system,the validity of protective GHPN models was tested through simulation. The established GHPN soft models of protection systems can describe the inner dynamic behavior of the protection systems in sufficient detail.It developed the object-oriented hybrid power system model library-HybPowLib whose model codes are fully transparent and can easily be modified or extend. In addition, the construction of HybPowLib and the categories of its inner component models were introduced. Through some examples of power systems, it simulated and analyzed the hybrid dynamic process of the interaction between discrete events and continuous dynamics of power systems.The calculated process of trajectory sensitivity in hybrid systems was deduced, and the partial derivative computing method and the programmed algorithm of trajectory sensitivity were analyzed, and then programs realized them was completed. Last, the interaction between discrete events and continuous dynamics of power systems was analyzed using the trajectory sensitivity method by simulation. Thus, the sensitivity and accuracy of trajectory sensitivity analysis is proved.
