Based on the theories and techniques of bridge monitoring and evaluation, and with the project of The Real-time Health Monitoring System of Qianjiang 4th Bridge, this dissertation deeply studies the integrated monitoring system of complex bridge. At the same time, this dissertation discusses the relevant issues such as dynamic model modification, sensor location optimization, structure evaluation etc , and further puts forward some new approaches and new conclusions.Firstly, according to the present conclusions of the bridge monitoring, this dissertation establishes a integrated monitoring system framework consisted of "3 main-body modules +3 function modules", and discusses some main problems such as sensors selection, signal collection and data processing. Furthermore the dissertation establishes the Real-time Monitoring System of Qianjiang 4th Bridge in which such problems as synchro communication, signal anti-jamming, data interface are solved.Secondly, this dissertation builds up the fine finite element model and the simplified model of Qianjiang 4th Bridge, according to which the structure dynamic character is analyzed. The dissertation has accomplished the updating of the model by means of the linear iterative method based on parameter sensitivity. And the concept of parameter sensitivity is emphasized at each updating stage such as error analysis, parameter selection, updating calculation and convergence judgment. Because of its good convergence rate and explicit physical meaning, this approach is particularly suitable for engineering area. The updated model is very close to the desired model, which lays good foundation for future study.Thirdly, this dissertation describes MAC(model assurance criterion algorithm) and EI(effective independence algorithm), analyses the disadvantage of these two algorithms and concludes that freedom optimization and modal shape classification play an important role in sensor location optimization of complex bridge. Meanwhile, an improved optimal sensor location method based on freedom optimization and modal shape classification is put forward. The approach is proved very well in the sensor location optimization of Qianjiang 4th Bridge. It can be concluded that the approach is applicable for the large complex bridge. Finally, with the domestic and foreign achievement on bridge assessment up to...
