System Simulation And Fractal Theory Of Traffic Flow Of Major Road Of City

With the improvement of living standards of the people of China, the phenomenon of urban traffic jam is becoming more serious. Different advanced urban traffic control systems based on traffic control theory can not meet the need of traffic situation of China. Fractal theory is one of the effective tools which solves the non-linear, complicated problems, using fractal theory to solve complicated traffic flow problem will offer a new thinking of developing a new-type traffic control system.This thesis introduced the development and advantages and disadvantages of different control theories, explained some questions of traditional traffic flow identification in identifying methods. On the basis of analyzing car following theory and fluid mechanical theory, it expounded the fractal categorized principle of traffic flow of signal control intersection, proved that the major traffic flow has self-similarity and invariability of scale, put forwards that traffic flow video identification is the best way to realize traffic flow fractal geometry control, points out traffic flow geometry identification has its unique superiority. Meanwhile, it described the mathematical relationship of fractal traffic flow with mathematics method, set up corresponding mathematics model, and proved the model was correct with some data. On the basis of introducing fractal dimension theory, combing the actual conditions, it provided the method of how to calculate the dimension of major traffic flow, and the dimension of actual major traffic flow was 1.749. In addition, it described the five parts of traffic flow dynamic simulation software of the intersection, and provided the specific method of computer simulation. After analyzing the existing problems of the hardware in traffic control system, it explained the structure, design principle of hardware of traffic flow control system. Finally, the conclusion that this thesis draws was that the urban traffic control system with fractal theory was a new-type control system, and it will improve the velocity of major traffic flow, reduce air pollution, and improve the people's living environment.
