As the most creative and important influence factor in manufacturing enterprise, product development faces more intensive challenges in today's society which is characteristic of globalized competition and complex product. With the mature of Internet technology, networked collaborative product development (NCPD) is becoming the trend of product development pattern. Aiming to market requirement, NCPD can quickly organize dynamic product development alliance which helps to shorten devopment cycle and reduce development cost. NCPD has the characteristics of digitalization, parallelization, distribution, intelligence and collaboration. According to the requirement of modern product development, on the basis of comprehensive analysis of networked collaborative product development, this paper deeply studies the following issues: the theory and function architecture of NCPD, complex process modeling and management, collaborative product modeling and represent, visual product configuration process and the realization of NCPD system. Firstly, this paper studies the theory and method of NCPD. Based on the comprehensive ananlysis of the concept and intension of NCPD, three important issues including NCPD general model, collaborative model and forming mechanism are introduced orderly. NCPD general model is put forward, which consists of four sub-models, including organization model, process model, product model and resource model. Simultaneously, a three-dimention collaborative model is put forward, which includeing time collaboration, space collaboration and object collaboration. The forming mechanism of NCPD is also discussed. Secondly, threee key aspects of NCPD, including process model, product model and configuration model, are deeply discussed: 1) Adaptive process model is the basis of the orderly organization for NCPD. Due to the characteristics of networked collaborative product development process, including layer, nesting, distributed and dynamic, the process model based on activity theory and activity constriant network is proposed, and the activity logic and activity constraint of process model are described based on oriented-object method. The process model is represented uniformly by variable and knowledge-body, and process executing strategy is discussed. Based on the formal process model, two optimization algorithms arte put forward. Finally, process management method based on project and workflow is studied. 2) Unified product model is the basis of NCPD realization. Howerver, product information in NCPD is continuely aggregating, spliting and optimizing, and it is difficult to design the unified product model because product information has the characteristics of dynamic and open. For this reason, the product five-dimentions status spaces model is put forward, including "lifecycle"dimention, "structure"dimention, "prop"dimention, "version"dimention, "collaboration"dimention. The dynamic feature of product information in each status space is discussed comprehensively. Simultaneously, for the standardization representation of product data and the exchange in Internet, the product object representation framework based on STEP is established, and the mapping method between EXPRESS and XML is proposed. 3) Product configuration model is one of key technologies for shortening product development cycle. This paper discusses the realization of product configuration process for customer requirement. A product configuration model based on conditional constraint satisfaction problem is put forward, and based on the configuration model, a model-decomposition strategy is proposed. Furthermore, visual product configuration process based on lighted model is primary studied. Finally, based on the above general architecture and related key technologies, a practical prototype system based on .NET framework is development to give a verification. The implementation about the above key technologies and some projects about NCPD are intruduced, which testified the advancement and practicability of this thesis's research achievements.
