Blasting vibration analysis is one of the important foundations for studying the control technology of blasting vibration damage. It is still an applied fundamental subject that needs to further and deeply study in blasting engineering because of the complexity and uncertainty of blasting seism itself. On the basis of the performance of the 10th five-year national key technologies R&D subject and a large amount of the domestic and international relevant specialty literature that has been analyzed systematically, the author focused on the research project — applied fundamental research of blasting vibration analysis based on wavelet transform. According to a large amount of blasting vibration live data that has been collected, the author has studied deeply and systematically these issues by wavelet theory for the applied foundation of blasting vibration analysis: blasting vibration signal analysis; blasting vibration signal de-noising; blasting vibration prediction and blasting vibration safety criterion. The main research conclusions of the project are summarized as follows:First of all, based on wavelet theory, a basic research approach of wavelet time-frequency characteristic analysis for blasting vibration signal process has been established. The author proposed creatively that the wavelet frequency band energy is considered as the index to estimate the influence of blasting vibration. The wavelet frequency band energy can reflect the total influence of all the three key elements (the intensity, frequency and duration of vibration) of blasting vibration.Secondly, the author has worked out and confirmed the optimum wavelet base which is much more suitable for blasting vibration analysis. Both short duration and quick change are the characteristics of blasting...
