Two kinds characteristics of cryogenic propellants in the pipeline transportation system have been studied . One is the study on the choice of pressurization gas and the improvement of the pressurization apparatus in the rocket's liquid propellant pressurization transportation system, the other is the study on the precooling of the cryogenic pump system in the rocket using cryogenic liquid propellant, These two studies come from the new generation programming of carrier rockets in our country, and are the important technology issues in the design for cryogenic liquid propellant rockets. The present theoretical and experimental work focuses on the following sections:1. Solubility Computation of Solid Carbon Dioxide in Liquid Nitrogen and Liquid Oxygen Based on theory of the ideal solubility, the regular-solution theory and the modified Scatchard-Hildebrand equation, which are suitable for estimating solubility in nopolar systems, are used to estimate solubility of CO2 and H2O in liquid nitrogen and oxygen. The computed results of solid carbon dioxide solubility in liquid nitrogen and liquid oxygen are compared with the experiment data from literature, and the proper explanation and discussion are also given. The result will be a reference for the choice and preparation of pressurization gas in liquid propellant pressurization transportation system.2. Numerical Simulation and Analysis on Liquid Propellant Pressurization Transportation System Cryogenic liquid propellant pressurization transportation system has been numerically simulated with Computational Fluid Dynamics and numerical computation tool. A series of numerical computation experiments are made to investigate cryogenic liquid transfer performance by pressurization method for liquid nitrogen tank. The computation result has the instruction significance for the test-bed improvement and experiment process. The numerical simulation also forecasts some...
