The high performance small caliber gun plays an important role in air defense, anti-missile, anti-ship and air combat. Depending on its tactic features, the techniques for controlling bore pressure and improving muzzle velocity are analyzed, and the interior ballistics performances, optimization design and two phase numerical simulation of small caliber deterred charge gun are studied and the optimal control model of propellant burning rate law is set up in this dissertation. The main parts are concluded as follows:(1) It has been evidenced that the deterred charge is appropriate to improve the muzzle velocity while controlling the bore pressure for small caliber gun. The equation based on experiment of calculating the deterred parameters and equation of deterred propellant burning-rate coefficient are deduced. The deterred parameters of deterred propellants are tested and the interior ballistics experiments and numerical simulations of the deterred charge are conducted, the calculation results are accord with those of the experiment. The loading parameter's affecting on interior ballistics performance is analyzed detailed.(2) A two-phase flow interior ballistics mathematical model of a small caliber deterred charge gun is established and its numerical simulations are conducted. The pressure-time curves, velocity-time curves, the distributions of some main state variables and pressure-travel curves of projectile base are given. The interior ballistic performance of deterred charge contrast with those of traditional charge so that the muzzle velocity is increased obviously while controlling the pressure by using the deterred charge. The analysis of some factor's affecting on interior ballistic performance shows that the interior ballistic performances are relative with the deterred parameters and propellant size, the pressure difference is affected by the primer charge weight, the interior ballistic performance of deterred charge small caliber gun is almost similar for linear and exponential regularity of the burning-rate coefficient when the deterred parameters are same for small-scale propellant.(3) The methods of gun interior ballistic multi-object optimization design based on classic interior ballistic theory and modern interior ballistic theory are set up respectively (classic optimization model and two-phase flow optimization model separately) and the solutions are gotten by TOPSIS method.
