Study On Aesthetic Value Of High-Rise Building

Every kind of architectural aesthetics is based on a philosophy. Object-conceptual architectural aesthetics is founded upon ontology, so it considers that architectural beauty is an objective attribute of independent existence. Subject-conceptual architectural aesthetics is rested on unification of subjectivism's solipsism and objectivism's ontology, such as hermeneutics and deconstructionism, and it thinks that the existence of architecture is independent of human, but the beauty of architecture depends on people, so the beauty or not of a building lies on people. Architectural aesthetics of axiology is based upon humanism philosophy, such as axiology and phenomenology, etc. It believes the beauty of architecture rests with neither object nor subject, but consists in complex value relationship made up of object and subject. The essence of architectural aesthetic value is whether the effect architecture acts on people accords with human structure, scale and demands, and if the effect accords with human's requirements, people sympathize with architecture mentally, so architecture has aesthetic value, contrarily doesn't. Architectural aesthetic value comprises material aspect and spiritual aspect (technical aspect and artistic aspect). Architectural aesthetic value of material aspect is whether architecture is fit for physiological demands of human survival and development, user's activities, personal structure and scale, and whether it contents user's requests in architectural function, safety and economy etc. Architectural aesthetic value of spiritual aspect is whether architecture adapts to user's cultural background, knowledge structure, psychological scale, and the same time whether dwellers recognize it mentally, and realize higher satisfaction in pursuit of spirit, and whether architecture shows human freedom, predilection or existence.Architectural aesthetics of axiology, which has strong humanism, inherits, innovates and evolves subject-conceptual architectural aesthetics. Architectural aesthetic value under system science theory compensates it for shortage of scientific rationalness because of being regarded as a nonlinear and complicated system. Aesthetics value of high-rise building is composed of aesthetic value of architectural technology and aesthetic value of architectural art, and is antinomy and unification of the both.
