Study On The Urban Spatial Structure Of Nanning City In The Speedy Progress Of Urbanization

The Chinese urbanization enters rapid increasing period, the academic circles has done many research to the spatial development pattern for coastal cities in eastern part, but it has not done many research to the changing spatial structure of undeveloped especially big cities regarding the mid-west . In inspecting the spatial structure variations of domestic and foreign big cities, this article utilizes the first investigation materials and the fourth, the fifth national census data aimed at experimental study about the spatial structure evolution of Nanning city after 1990. Taking ecology boundary as the restraint condition, this paper divides the Nanning city central area into district office as the basic spatial unit, which separated from the social population, the industrial layout, the landuse and the transportation three aspects. The author compares the city spatial structure changes at the beginning of 1990 ages with which after 2000 under this three functions by using quantitative investigation method. Then considering the government policy influence to the city spatial structure, this paper synthesizes each factor's influence to the space for inspecting the evolution of Nanning city spatial structure. The author also deduces the evolution model of Nanning city spatial structure for the near 20 years, summarized its changing characteristics. At last this paper proposes the theory hypothesis about the city center"dividing-moving", and compares it with the domestic and foreign correlations model.This article believes that from 1990 till now, under many kinds of influences regarding natural flows of the population, the government policy, the land development and the industrial layout change and so on, the Nanning city center has experienced the process of"dividing-moving". The city spatial structure has already evolved from single core pattern to two cores pattern. These two cores connects with one axial district. Because of the population flowing, the city has appeared the obvious social district.According to the hypothesis about city center"dividing-moving", the city center's dividing-moving needs certain motivation, opportunity and condition. Just only this three factors simultaneously occur, the process of city center"dividing-moving"should connected with the population moving process. Then following this condition, local government can push the city spatial structure to the optimization.
