Based on the seismic design information of tall buildings in Shanghai, the significance and necessity of GIS-based management information system was analyzed in the management of seismic design information. The thesis is divided into four parts. Chapter one and chapter two introduced the relevant background and GIS theory, and the current situation at home and abroad; Chapter three took an actual tall buildings as an example, discussing the numerical calculation process and the shaking table test, and extracted the attribute information of tall buildings in seismic design; Chapter four and chapter five introduced the key technologies in construction of seismic design information management system based on GIS and the relevant scheme; Chapter six concentrated on structural system selection on the basis of tall buildings collected in Shanghai,adopting data mining method.The detailed content is as follows:(1)To analyze the seismic design technological process including the structure calculating analysis, elastic-plastic time-history analysis, and the shaking table test by taking Shanghai world financial center as the example; and to collect the seismic design information for the construction of attribute database;(2)Taking ArcGIS as the platform, seismic design information database based on SQL Server 2000 was constructed. The ArcSDE technology, geodatabase data model were used to store the space data and attribute data and the UML technology was adopted to accomplish object-oriented construction of database. And finally the detailed design of space database and attribute database were presented respectively;(3)Using ComGIS as the key technology, the SDGIS for seismic design information of the out-of-codes tall buildings in Shanghai was developed based on ArcGIS engine.And the detailed design process, main function modules, operation and development environment were given according to software engineering theory;(4)The effective use of information was accomplished by data mining and other method so as to realize auxiliary decision-making. The structural system selection of tall buildings was studied. The gray correlation theory has been introduced firstly todetermine the quantization of main influencing factors, and the correlation rules datamining for structural system selection was carried out by Apriori algorithm andBayesian network;(5)GIS and tradition information management system were combined, and theseismic design information visualization level has been improved by using ArcGISEngine technology;(6)The interface technology realized the various technologies integration. The OLEprogramming technology, module technology, and object-oriented UML model wereused to the system development by integration of these technologies under unifiedplatform.
