Study On Solutions Of Sub Grade Disease Of Expressway And Establishment Of PMS System

GIS have been used in many fields in highway and it can also be applied in traffic planning, administration of municipal traffic, construction of transportation infrastructure and administration of transportation. By redevelopment of GIS, Engineering problems like traffic panning, reconnaissance of the highway, highway construction, highway maintenance can be worked out after the inputting, classifying and analysis of the available data.Expressways have been playing important roles in the economic development and the daily life of the people in the past years. In the operation of the expressway, the pavement will be destroyed by the traffic loads and climate factors. And this will undoubtedly increase the cost of operation of the vehicles. All these will not be problems if the funds for maintenance are abundant. So the key to the problems is how to distribute the finite funds to the critical unit to obtain the best economic efficiency.Chang Chun-Ying Cheng Expressway, one section of the Chang Chun-Bai Shan Expressway, is one of the most important projects of infrastructures of the eighth five-year plan. Based on this project, research has been carried on GIS and the frame of administration of the expressway. By GIS, estimate system for standards of the disease of the expressway was established, principles of the diseases were analyzed, and maintenance methods were given out. The author also made some prospects about on the application of GIS.By the study of this.dissertation, maintenance cost will be reduced to a large extend and some technology problems on expressway maintenance will be solved.
