Research On Regional Architectural Creation In Northeast Area

Accompany with the impact of globalization and urbanization, the architecture, the city as well as people's living environment are facing the same problem which is the vanishment of localization. The technology and industry civilization bring us the power of surviving with the power of ruin. Modern construction, using concrete, steel, glass and the other new materials, is discarding traditional technique which is more adapting to local condition, abandoning the memory of history and culture, deviating from the mode of existence and living experience. The architecture design of northeast region is also facing the mentioned problems. The relationship of architecture and environment is ruined. A new viewpoint which is more rational and objective is needed. The view of regional architecture design provides a new way to solve those problems.The regional architecture design is impressed on the insight into conditions of the environment, and the presentation of the environment is the quintessence of design. Based on the characteristic of northeast region, finding the way to solve the problems in architecture design, to presents the characteristic in architecture design, to use local building technique is the essential of regional architecture design, which is also the way to realize sustainable development.Above all, this paper summarizes research results of regional architecture design, advancing the perspective of research and correlative theories, and laying the foundation for the system of regional architecture design. Secondly, this paper analyzes the restraining factor of regional architecture design in northeast, the educational background of local architects and character of northeast region. Combined with the architectures in northeast region, this paper definites the point of regingal architechure design which is the eidos of suitability. The main part of this paper, based on three restraining factors, researches the expression of regional architecture design in northeast, which contains the symbiosis with environment, the isomorphisme with society, the optimality with economy. This paper, with the system of regional architecture design, expounds the expression of the regional architecture design.The research of regional architecture design has the meaning of both theory and practice. The author hopes that the research of this paper could be useful to the development of regional architectural design theory, and could direct the architectural creation in northeast area.
