The foresty cableway is a effective skidding and transporting pattern in the forestv ) region, has been used widely in the logging practice. The research of overhead cable theory about foresty cable has significance in theory and practice for rational design skidding and transporting cableway. Based on the theoretic analysis. the general suspend perpendicular curve equation and the force of skyline about foresty multispan cableway have been established. The practical precision and characteristics of hyperbola and parabola theory ,as well as the skyline line pattern under the load and without load, have been analyzed in the foresty cableway. The calculating equation of the pulling force about skycar was set up in the foresty cableway. It was verified by the pulling force experiments. The elastic modulus of skyline have been researched under a span and height between the supports of cable- way. The dynamic of skyline after the load and the tree falling on the skylin. as well as the dynamic of skyline and the distribution of energy have been researched.
