According to ecological and soil science principles~ tho quuitity, status aml distribution of soil xuatnuits and soil biod,anical activities under the ~st generation of korean ?plantation were studied and coumpared with those under natural korean pine forest l~ rmilts dmwe&Organic nuttua~, N, P. K Contents in soil decreased, especially in 5-15cm depth under artificial pure korean pine forest as compared with those under natural korean pine forest.Available Ca decreased but available Mg increased in soil under artificial korean pine forest as compared with those under natural korean pine forestSoil available Cii and available Fe increased with soil depth. Available Cu concentrated in 40-60 cm depth but available Fe concentrated in 25-40 an depth. Available Z~ axl available Mn increased with soil depth siN! were rich in soil under natural korean pine forest.Catalase, trmmfuase, acid phosplutase activities decreased but peroxidase activity increased m soil iu~ artificial pure korean pine forest as compared with those under natural korean pine forest.Available N, P.
