According to the pig genetic breeding theories and pig national genetic evaluation scheme,The "FOOL" and "WYSWYG" system of the pig breeding management and analysis which programmed with the OOP's technology was developed with the interfacial Man-machine conversation There were pig data collection and management and genetic analysis,providing teledata. The system includes four sub-systems: the breeding data input sub-system; the breeding analysis sub-system; the breeding management sub-system; the additional function sub-system.1. It was designed in the breeding data input sub-system for such as to add and modify and delete and browse and report data, and so on. There was Data on-line trace check for ensuring data veracity. Data input was much more fast by means of setting default for the correspondingly fixed data, data auto-input for the data of the relative expression, on-line display for the data of limited selected item, pop-up calendar for date data, intelligentized memorial input for the similar data, shortcut code input for the data corresponding to the code, auto-building pedigree for being the same ancestor, etc. The practice results suggest that those ways could effectively avoid data errors and greatly quicken data inputs.2. It was designed in the breeding analysis sub-system to estimate the BLUP' breeding value with a flow chart, institute the EBV's selection index and the aggregate selection index, analysis the genetic improvement and the herd inbreeding condition, and so on. Data management with Visual FoxPro and data computation with Microsoft Fortran were realized in Estimating BLUP's breeding value and computing inbreeding coefficient. The test results suggest that this way could greatly quicken data analysis-it costs no more than 3 minutes to analysis inbreeding coefficient for 30 thousands simulated data in the PII350 computer,for example.3. It was designed in the breeding management sub-system not only to mainly select bred pig and institute selected mating plan and bred pig card , but also to query the individual family structure and performance, analysis the performance and the performance's improvement, report, and so on. Queried performance includes not only the tested observation but also the breeding value and the selection index(such as the EBV's selection index and the aggregate selection index) here. The practice results suggest that the guide way to select bred pig and institute selected mating plan was greatly convenient and useful for the pig breeder. It can easily query the individual ancestor (parent, grand-parent, great-grand-parent) and full-sibs(can show if they are of the litter or not) and half-sibs(can show that they come from the same father or the same mother) and progeny as a reference for the pig breeders. It was set many ways and conditions to institute selected mating plan in the mate. A lot of reports which involve in many ways of breeding can meet different user's needs on the whole. 30 types of designed graphs and graphs from Microsoft Graph 8.0 can be used by users in the report output of performance's improvement.4. There are many designed functional add-ons sub-system including: (1)setting thebreeding data scope; (2)getting the breeding; (3)instituting and querying the breeding work plan; (4)setting the line or the pig farm or the employee; (5)the back-up or the initialization or the deletion or the copy of the breeding data; (6)setting and computing the self-defined trait,etc.5. the logging-on system is by the user's right which is set only by the company's boss or the system's manager ,only under which can the system work successfully. So can ensure data's security and rationality.
