The mycorrhizal biological technique is one of the biological techniques for vegetation renewal and ecology restoration. The key to the mycorrhizal biological technique is to select most practicable mycorrhizal fungal strains, produce effective inoculums and establish a feasible mycorrhizal applicable system Deterioration of the environment and the destroyed vegetation of the Daqing Mountain make it necessary to improve the status quo by means of the mycorrhizal biological technique. In this paper, the ectomycorrhizal symbiosis of the main trees was investigated in the Daqing Mountain of Inner Mongolia. 71 ectomycorrhizal fungi strains were isolated. The morphologies of ectomycorrhizae of 7 main trees in the Daqing Mountain were observed. The results revealed that there were several types of ectomycorrhizae in one tree species. The ectomycorrhizal fungi fruits were investigated in 7 types of trees in the Daqing Mountain. The results showed that many numbers of ectomycorhizal fungi fruits were found in the rainy yearly though the vegetation had been badly destroyed. It proved that there were better ectomycorrhizal fungi diversities in the Daqing Mountain. Inoculated the natural soil under Ostryopsis davidiana shrubs, the seedlings of Pinus tabulaeformis were cultivated in the lab and nursery. The results revealed that three types of ectomycorrhizal morphologies were formed in the seedlings of the Pinus tabulaeformis roots. 9 ectomycorrhizal fungi strains were isolated. The pure culture physiological characteristics of the 9 ectomycorrhizal fungi strains isolated from the seedlings of Pinus tabulaeformis (i.e. Spl~9), the 2 ectomycorrhizal fungi strains isolated from 20a forestry trees of Pinus tabulaeformis (i.e. Suillus and Lac) and the 6 ectomycorrhizal fungi strains isolated from the ectomycorrhizal fungi fruits in 20a Pinus tabulaeformis forestry (i.e. 96-S, 99-S, 00-S, SF1-3) were studied. The results revealed that the pure culture physiological characteristics of the strains were different from each other. The difference between the strains isolated from ectomycorrhizal issues and the strains isolated from ectomycorrhizal fungi fruits were greater.By pure culture ectomycorrhizae synthesis and pot culture ectomycorrhizae synthesis, the Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings were cultivated inoculated 17 ectonycorrhizal fungi strains. The results revealed that the typical ectomycorrhizas were formed on the roots of the Pinus tabulaeformis seedling. The effect of Sp4, Sp7 and Sp8 on the Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings was greater than the effect of the other strains. The 1-year-old, 2-year-old and 3-year-old seedlings of Pinus tabulaeformis were cultivated and inoculated with the inoculum of 17 ectonycorrhizal fungi strains. The results revealed that the inoculated seedlings grew better than the uninoculated seedlings. The average mycorrhizal infected rates of the inoculated 1-year-old Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings was 58.6%; The average natural mycorrhizal infected rates of the uninoculated 1-year-old Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings was 0.5%. The average dry weight increased by 26.0%; the average root-shoot ratio increased by 36.8%. The 2-year-old inoculated seedlings' average mycorrhizal infected rates was 85.5%, the average natural mycorrhizal infected rates of the controlled seedlings was 20.4%. The inoculated seedlings' average dry weight increased by 46.7%; the average root-shoot ratio increased by 10.3%. The 3-year-old inoculated seedlings' average mycorrhizal infective rates was 69.6%, the average natural mycorrhizal infected rates of the controlled seedlings was 19.1%. The inoculated seedlings' average dry weight increased by 13.7%; the average root-shoot ratio increased by 19.8%. The effect of inoculating the inoculums of 17 ectomycorrhizal fungi strains on the 2-year-old seedlings of Pinus tabulaeformis was better than the others. The drought resistance of the 2-year-old and 3-year-old Pinus tabulaeformis seedlings was also studied. The results revealed that the ectomycorrhizal fungi are beneficia...
