Gene frequency, polymorpHism information contents, number of effective alleles, heterozygosity and genetic distances were studied in Boer goat, Taihang goat and Hebei dairy goat using four microsatellite markers (OarFCBll, OarAElOl, McM218, McM38) . The crossing effects on Hebei dairy goat and Taihang goat with Boer goat were tested. The results indicated that 10 alleles were found at microsatellite marker OarFCBll. The range of diversity is from 141 to 185bp. Allele 153,155and 157 only were found in Hebei dairy goat; 9 alleles were found at microsatellite marker OarAElOl. The range of diversity is from 109 to 129bp. Allele 119 only was found in Hebei dairy goat. Allele 121 only was found in Boer goat; 10 alleles were found at microsatellite marker McM218. The range of diversity is from 166 to 208bp. Allele 180 and 190 only was found inTaihang goat. Allele 208 only was found in Hebei dairy goat; 9 alleles were found at microsatellite marker McM38. The range of diversity is from 128to 164bp. Allele 152 only was found in Hebei dairy goat. Allele 164 only was found in Boer goat. PolymorpHism information contents, number of effective alleles, heterozygosity at microsatellite marker OarFCBl 1 is the highest and it is the lowest at microsatellite marker McM38. that indicated genetic variation at OarFCBll is bigger and it is smaller at McM38.Four microsatellite markers can be used for genetic diversity evaluation in goat breeds. The genetic variability of Taihang goat is the highest, and Boer goat is the lowest in three goat breeds. Genetic distances between Boer goat and Hebei dairy goat is bigger than that between Boer goat and Taihang goat. The heterosis between Boer goat and Hebei dairy goat is higher than that between Boer goat and Taihang goat.The testing results of practical heterosis indicated that The birth weight, 4 months weight, 8 months weight and dressing percentage of 8 months in first filial generation between Boer goat and Hebei dairy goat is significantly higher than that between Boer goat and Taihang goat. The crossing effect between Boer goat and Hebei dairy goat is better than that between Boer goat and Taihang goat.We got the same results by comparing the crossing effect on practical test and the heterosis by theoretical forecast between Boer goat and Hebei dairy goat, Taihang goat,it indicated that it is feasible for forecasting heterosis in goats by the genetic polymorpHisms of microsatellite DNA. It is faster and lower cost for forecasting heterosis by the genetic polymorpHisms of microsatellite DNA. It will have an important value for goat breeding in future.
