The area cropping cowpea is increasing with the year, and the species and populations of pest insects as well. At present, application of chemical insecticides is the dominant method of pest management. Controlling only one pest insect make the population of the main pest species be concentrated, which leads to difficulty on sustained management of pest insects in cowpea field. In this study controlling of Maruca testulalis was proved from two factors of pest -insecticide level to three factors of crop-pest - insecticide level. Interaction between crops - pest - insecticide was studied accordingly; researches of interference and influence of the use of the insecticide resulting changed in secondary supersession materials of crop can be used as a new theoretical basis in pest management and to put forward the systematic integrated control of M. testulalis. According the ecological niche, comparatively careful studying was done on dimension of the main pest, natural enemy in time and spatial relationship, which would offer theory and practice basis to ecological regulation and control of the pest in the cowpea field ecosystem. Following, the method can offer reference for the modern management of the other pests in vegetable fields. In this research the new theoretical foundation and controlling mode for cowpea pest was obtained by analyzing the structure of arthropod community in cowpea field and the interaction of different insecticide and cowpea. The diversity and arthropods community, the diversities of the pests, natural insect enemies, spiders and neutral arthropod sub-communities in cowpea fields under chemical insecticides control plots in Wuhan were studied. The kinds of insects, acarids and spiders in the comparison spring sowing and summer sowing cowpea fields were investigated and recorded. The comparison and control fields were investigated by timing and siting, sampled by parallel skip with five sites from the beginning of florescence to the period of legumen. The planthopper used in our investigations were taken from the experiment field of Huazhong Agricultural University. They were kept and raised in the Insects Resources Institute of Huazhong Agricultural University. The dominant concentration index is calculated by the equation "d=Nmax/N" (Berger-Parker), the community diversity index is... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | cowpea fields, chemical insecticides, arthropod, Maruca testulalis Geyer, Host plant, Susceptibility | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
