In general, some specific problems in the technology system of vegetable seedling nursery, especially in the study on nutrition conditions, are still under way of"Dark—Box—Discovery"stage. For the research on some key links with seedling nursery, we'd better not only develop the modern technical system for practical application but also reveal its mechanism in detail so as to reform and perfect the system. With the need of vegetable seedling industry development nationwide, this dissertation attachs most importance to nutrition conditions of fruit vegetable seedling nursery as affected by environmental factors. The results obtained from experiments are showed as follows:1.With the further definition of superiority of tray soilless raising in seedling stage, a feasible proposal to reform traditional Earthen-Elder-Age-Seedling was put forward firstly nationwide, which is the cut—in point and technical target of the Technology Reforming System of Vegetable Seedling Nursery in China.Three treatments was designed:①the elder age seedling in earthen culture bowl;②the middle age seedling in earthen bowl culture;③the middle age seedling in tray with soilless growing medium . With tomato (L-402) as test material, taking statistical G value and index of sound seedling as the main target to evaluate the quality of seedling (G is equivalent to: average proportion of seedling's dry weight to the days of seedling stage, which forecast well the early yield of fruit vegetable; index of sound seedling means average proportion of the stem diameter to the product of the stem height by multiplication the dry weight of seedlings), the physiological index necessary was tested. The results showed that the germination percentage with earthen medium was far short of the one with soilless medium. In the same raising conditions, the speed of growth development of the seedlings with soilless medium was faster than that of the seedlings in soil medium. especially, the difference between root system is very significant. The weight of root system of seedlings in soilless medium is almost three times of the one in soil medium. The results of the seedlings physiology indexes are completely the same with it.[1]The difference of seedling vigor level is mainly reflected by ultimate yield and interrelated with the seedling physiological and biological statesWith the same earthen culture medium, the early yield of elder age seedlings(1st treatment ) is significantly higher than that of middle age seedlings(2nd treatment),which is consistent with the results by means of the G value and index of sound seedling to forecast the early yield( R value are respectively 0.9971**,0.8966**),even if the total yield of elder age seedling is obviously decreased, meanwhile, of early ripeness,fruit amount,and yield, the soilless seedling is superior to earthen culture seedling. Root system vitality is a key index to measure sound seedling, the rooting vitality of elder age seedlings was lower than that of middle age seedling, especially, the rooting vitality in soilless medium tray is...
