Aubergine (Solanum melongena L.) is widely grown in the world. China is one of the mainly countries on its production. Dynamic photosynthesis characteristics in greenhouse Aubergine were researched on two problems for productivity depression and shortage of a systematic research on photosynthetic characteristics.This paper highlights on the studies of photosynthetic characteristics in greenhouse microclimates on Aubergine F1 hybrid'QIEZA-1'and'HEIBEI-1', including light saturation point (LSP), light compensation point (LCP), apparent quantum yield (AQY), light conversion efficiency (LCE), CO2 saturation point (CSP), CO2 compensation point (CCP), carboxylation efficiency (CE), CO2 uptake efficiency (CUE), and optimum leaf temperature (Topt).LSP of greenhouse Aubergine increases as increasing CO2 concentration and ambient temperature, but LCP increases with decreasing CO2 concentration and decreases with increasing ambient temperature. Its AQY is higher on the combination of saturation CO2 concentration and optimum leaf temperature than others. Its CSP and CE is higher on the combination of saturation light and optimum leaf temperature than on high temperature, or on low temperature, or on the combination of low temperature and low light. The higher leaf temperature is, the higher CCP is. The curves of AQY diurnal variation of Aubergine in greenhouse shows as a single-valley type, but that of LCP, CCP and CE show as a single-peak type.The curves of photosynthetic diurnal variation in greenhouse Aubergine show as a two-peak type, untypical two-peak type, single-peak type, or flat-peak type. The type of it may change by weather, microclimate of greenhouse, times of CO2 injection per day, or ventilation, etc.Mainly environmental factors resulting in midday depression of photosynthesis involved...
