Bark is one of the most vital biomass material and is the most significant remains of forestry engineering. So reasonably and fully applying the bark is of great importance.This paper study the properties of the pyrolysis of the Larix gmelini bark and examine the properties of pyrolytic products as bark carbon, bark vinegar and bark gas. The GC-MS is applied to examine the components of bark vinegar. This research explore the parameters of pyrolysis as temperature and rising speed of temperature that influence the properties of the pyrolysis products. XRD is applied to explore the crystallinity of the bark carbon. Through the analysis of the TG and DSC of the pyrolysis, this paper also establishes the pyrolytic kinetic model of bark. Applied the integral methods to solve the kinetic equation and acquire the parameters as E and A. The pyrolytic tar acquired from pyrolysis is applied to synthesize the pyrolytic tar-PF resin. FTIR and DSC are used to examine the qualities of the resin prepared by different methods. Then the plywood is prepared by the resin synthesized by different methods and orthogonal test methods are applied to determine the optimal parameter for different resin to prepare plywood.The results of Larix gmelini bark pyrolytic products are as follows:1. The pyrolytic condition is: the pyrolytic temperature is 450℃, 600℃, 750℃, the temperature rises averagely at 150℃/h, then keep the pyrolytic temperature about 1 hour. When the pyrolytic temperature rises, the acquisition of bark carbon decreases while the content of bark vinegar and bark gas increases. We can see that with the temperature increasing, the output of bark gas increases more largely than increase of the output of bark vinegar. When the temperature is 450℃, with the rising speed of pyrolytic temperature, the acquisition of bark carbon decrease, while the content of bark vinegar and bark gas increase at low range.2. With the increase of pyrolytic temperature, the content of ash in the bark carbon and fixed carbon also increases, the content of volatile components decreases, and the ratio surface area of bark carbon increases. The average ratio surface area is 225.67m2/g. The pores in the bark carbon are mainly tiny.3. Water aside, the main components of bark vinegar are organic acid, phenol and phenol derivatives, aldehyde and aldehydic derivatives, ketone and keto derivatives, alcoholic derivatives and ester and its derivatives etc. Under different pyrolytic condition, the order of the main components of bark venigar is phenol and phenol derivatives(45.620%), organic acid(13.851%), keto derivatives(9.754%), aldehydic derivatives(8.573%), alcoholic derivatives(1.794%), ester and its...
