ABSTRACT The pattern of thinking of a nation is formed from the most pivotal and the most stable element of its traditional culture ,and reflects the basic facture of its cultural mental quality. The pattern of thinking as the most pivotal and the most stable element of its traditional culture should not be neglected in the study of the difference between the system of Western medicine and Chinese medicine. The facture of thinking in Chinese traditional culture emphasizes direct experience and overlooks logical reasoning. Chinese Medicine is formed in culture matrixes and observes the law of thinking of Chinese traditional culture. And there is the direct factor of Chinese traditional culture抯 thinking. The pattern of perceptual thinking of 1CM may be classified concept of imagery~ intuitional judgment and argument by analogy, all of them are formed from the sensuous contemplation of image .Coming from careful observation of the environment , the sensuous contemplation of image take the typical object and phenomenon as the concrete generality to state universals .And then we can interpret the idea contained in it through the generalization of the image .The feature of TCM that very vivid but not accurate and profound in reflection life and disease is just the inevitable result of the work of pattern of thinking.
