| Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is the Auto-Immune Disease with multi-system involvement and multi-immunology abnormality caused by various factors(genetics,sexormones,environment,medicine,infeetion,immune reaction and so on) .Young woman suffers from this disease easily,it has chronic clinical duration,its morbility is 70.4 in 100 thousand in our country and mortality is very high,it is one of the difficult problems in medical field.The research status of SLE manifests that treatment of SLE by TCM integrating with west medicine has good perspective.Apoptotic has an important position in mechanism of SLE coming on.We observed the clinical theraputic effect which Langchuangjing granule treated active SLE, and probed into the mechanism of treatment on the levels of cell and molecule.Clinical studies Objective: To observe Langchuangjing granule having effect on the disease activity of SLE patients.Methods: 75 active SLE patients were at random divided into TCM group (45 cases, treated by TCM integrating with west medicine) and control group ( 30 cases, treated by west medicine) ,and were treated six months.We observed the clinical theraputic effect of Langchuangjing granule treating active SLE,and the effects on SLAM disease active scales,reducing corticorsteriods dosage,Gc and CTX index,ESR,urine protein,renal function,ANA,SIL-2R,and TNF- a Results: TCM group is significantly superior to the control group in some aspects, such as the total effectiveness rate (91 .1 %),improving some syndroms (fatigue,dry mouth,llinp aching lunbus and knees,hair lose) ,decreasing SLAM disease active scales and ESR,reducing urine protein,improving renal function,adjusting cytokine levels (SIL-2R, TNF- a ) ,decreasing dosage of corticorsteriods and CTX,alleviating its side-effects,and decreasing the rate of SLE relapse( in one year ).Conclusion: Langchuangjing granule treating active SLE has good theraputic effect,adjusting cytokine levels,helping to reducing dosage of corticorsteriods and CTX,decreasing the rate of SLE relapse,redounding to level off the state of SLE,and alleviating the side-effects of west medicine.Experimental studies Objective: To verify the theraputic effect which Langchuangjing granule treated lupus-like animal models, and to probe intoStudies on Treating Active Systemic Lupus Eiythematosus1with Langchuangjing Granulethe mechanism of theraputic effect on the levels of cell and molecule.Methods: We selected 40 BXSB mice ( ~ 8, ~ 32) with age of 8 weeks,8 femal mice acted as negative control group of the same fa.mily(group A) and other 32 male mice were at random divided into control group of model(groupB),Langchuangjing granule group(group C),CTX group (~group D), Langchuangjing granule and CTX group(group E).samples of every group were got after using medicine two weeks.Distributing of CD4+,CD8*T,CDI9+Bcells in peripheral blood and apoptotic of CD4~T,CDI9~B cells in spleen were examined by the flow cytometric analysis and irnmunofluorescence double-staining method.Imniunohistochemistry of BXSB mice were observed by staining immunofluorescence method.Results:Langchuangjing granule canincrease the distributing of CD4~T,CD8~T cells in peripheral blood and CD4/CDS ratio,decrease the distributing of CD19~B cells in peripheral blood,and restrain the excessive apoptotic of CD4~T,CDI9~B cells in spleen.Conclusion:Langchuangjing granule treated SLE by adjusting immunologic disorder of T lymphocyte,decreasing the distributing of B lymphocyte, restraining the excessive apoptotic of T, B lymphocytes,probably restraining the release of excessive ammount of apoptotic DNA fragments,so decreasing abnormal proliferation of B cells and the produce of autoantibodies.We consider that kidney yin vacuity is the root of SLE coming on,stasis toxin is the tip of SLE,kidney vacuity and stasis toxin is the key to the pathomechanism of SLE,and supplementing kidney and transforming toxin is the baisic method of treatment.Clinical and experimental studies indicate that Langchuangjing granule t...
