| A Study on the Express of Relative Oncogenes of Cell CycleModulator in Precancerous Lesions of Gastric Cancer and theTheraprutic Mechanism of Wei Yan XiaoAbstractGastric cancer is a kind of malignant tumor which is detrimental to health of human being. Its mortality ranks first among malignant tumors in China. Because its causes have not been completely clarified, so the primary prevention against its cause is very difficult to carry out. But research data indicate that before the formation of malignant tumor, gastric mucosal cells always undergo a relatively long developing stage, i.e, precancerous lesions of gastric cancer(PLGC).To identify PLGC and control its progress toward carinogenesis is important for the secondary prevention of gastric cancer. It has been proved that Wei Yan Xiao(WYX)is an effective prescription for treating PLGC. In order to systematicly investigate the characteristic of changing about cell cycle modulator in PLGC and the therapeutic mechanism of Wei Yan Xiao, the following studies were carried out.1.Literature ResearchThe term, cause and pathology of PLGC have been studied and drawn some certain conclusions by traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).PLGC belongs in the field of "fullness in the stomach" and "epigastralgia". The research data show that the occurrence of PLGC is affected by the six exogenous pathogenic factors, bad dietetic habits, emotional disturbance, constitution weakness and improper administering medicine. The position of PLGC is in spleen and stomach. Meanwhile it relates to the liver mainly. About the pathogenesis, it concludesdeficiency of both qi and yin, stagnancy of qi and blood stasis, phlegm intermingled with stasis and hyperactivity of toxic heat, etc. Its pathogensical characteristics is deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality. Deficiency in origin includes deficiency of both qi and yin of spleen and stomach. Excess in superficiality includes stagnancy of qi, blood stasis, toxic heat and phlegm blocking. Both pathogen complicated with deficiency and deficiency induced with excess are main transformation regular pattern of pathogenesis. At present, the main pattern of treating PLGC with TCM is based on differentiation of syndromes of TCM and differentiation of diseases of modern medicine. Studies are concentrated on the combination of deficiency and excess syndromes, including deficiency, stagnation, blood stasis and toxic substance. Generally speaking, the effectiveness of clinical treatment is satisfactory. Meanwhile, the therapeutic mechanisms of Chinese medicinal herbs in treating PLGC have been widely investigated. The data indicate that Chinese medicinal herbs have the following functions: (1) partially substituting gastric acid,(2) regulating gastrointesinal movement and preventing bile regurgitation,(3) improving microcirculation and promoting the restore of gastric musoca. (4) regulating immunity. (5) correcting the deficiency of vitamines and trace elements protein. (6) making some oncogene and suppression gene protein return to normal. (7) promoting the bistiocyte of PLGC apoptosis.The moderate and severe epithelial dysplasia of stomach and incomplete colonic intestinal metaplasia are PLGC in modern medicine. At present, The research achievement of pathologic mechanism of PLGC are very plentiful , which are developed of cytokinetics of tumor, enzymology of tumor, relations with tumor and oncogene, as well as suppression gene. Follow-up of the PLGCsuffers is still the main preventive measure ,and dealing with chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) and other accompanied diseases is the main therapy. When severe dysplasia has the tendency toward carcinogenesis, surgical operation should be considered. The treatment of PLGC in modern medicine has not made a breakthrough yet. Recently, it has been found that some inducers such as retinoids acid and yeast containing Se can prevent and reverse PLGC of rats to some extent.
