Psoriasis is a commonly and frequently encountered chronic inflammatory dermal disease. The duration of this disease is comparatively longer ,the etiology and pathogenesis of this disease is still unknown ,it may be related to genetic ,infective, and metabolic, endocrine, nervous, mental, and immunological disturbance. In traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)this disease is called "Bai Pei". TCM gives full play to cure psoriasis ,whose side effect is small , curative effect is reliable , and is the trend of our research now.Psoriasis is a immune disease of the T cell disorder which is due to poly gene genetics. Yin Xiao Bolus were used for syndrome of stagnation and obstruction of heat toxin and blood stasis in clinic. This study aimed to observe the effect of Yin Xiao Bolus on psoriatic models and immune function in mice. Yin Xiao Bolus were studied by using the modle of tail scales of mouse and vaginal epithelium, using the mouse experimental model of the technique of PCNA immunohistohemistry, ConA-induced proliferation and production of IFN- Y ,IL-2,IL-6 by T lymphocytes. The result showed that Yin Xiao Bolus could facilitates development of granular cell layers in mice tail scales, there were more granular cell layers and bigger granular cell in scales under electronic microscope. Yin Xiao Bolus could significantly inhibit the mitosis of vaginal epithelial cells in mice treated with estrogen, No abnormal changes of nucleolus and organelle were found under electronic microscope, inhibit ConA-induced proliferation and production of IFN- γ,IL-2,IL-6 by T lymphocytes. These facts indicate that Yin Xiao Bolus are related promoting the formation of granular cells, and inhibiting hyperplasia of epidermal cells and the...
