Part I Expression profiles of apoptotic regulators in laryngealsquamous cell carcinomasObjective To screen for the differentially expressed apoptotic genes in laryngeal squamous cell carcinomas using QEArray Q Series Human Apoptosis GeneArray hybridization methodMethods Total RNA of laryngeal carcinoma tissue and its adjacent normal laryngeal tissue was abstracted, cDNA probe was synthesized and labelled with biotin using Ampolablaleing-LRP method . The labelled cDNA probes were hybridized with QEArray Q Series Human Apoptosis GeneArray and hybridization signals were detected by the Chemiluminescent method. Data analysis was done with Scan Alyze and GE Array Analyzer. Results Among 96 apoptotic genes , we found that the expression of 23 genes [Survivin; Bcl-2; TNF-b/Lta; TNFa , etc] was up-regulation, while the expression of 22 genes [Bak; Bax; Bik; P53 , etc] was down-regulation in laryngeal cancer . Conclusions Our results obtained from QEArray Q Series Human Apoptosis GeneArray provide a specific expression profile related to apoptosis for laryngeal cancer. The discovery about the apoptotic genes may yield some clues on the oncogenic mechanism of laryngeal cancer.Part II Expression of Bak, Bax and Survivin , Bcl-2 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinomas...
