The doctoral dissertation focuses on secondary metabolitic material and biological characteristics of two species of endophytic fungi of Gliocladium which could accelerate the growth of the medicinal plant Anoectochilus roxburghii.Column chromatgraph and TLC(thin layer chromatograph) were used to extract and elucite compounds in the mycelia and culture solution of these two fungi. Secondary metabolitic materials' chemical structure were determined by IR ,UV, 1H-NMR , 13C-NMR, FAB, HMQC,HMBC, H-H COSY and other modern spectrosscopic technologies and chemical methods. On the other hand, the conditions of preparetion , regeneration and mutantgenesis of two fungal protoplasts were also studied in this paper.1. Tweleve compounds were isolated from the mycelia and culture solution of Fungi Gliocladium (Strain F), and four of them are steroids. F1[7,24(28)-diene-22-hydroxy-3-carboxylic acid-4-hydroxy-steroid lactone]; F2 (4,8,12,16-Tetramethy-1,5,9,13-tetraoxacyclohexadecane -2,6, 10,14 -tetraone ) ; F3 [bis-(5-furmyl-furfuryl)-ether] ; F4 (7,22-diene-3-hydroxy-6,9-epoxy-ergosta); F5(6,22-diene-3-hydroxy-5,8-epidioxyergosta); F6 (ergosterol); F7 (palmityl glycerin ester); F8 (3-carboxylic acid-pyridine); F9 (palmitinic acid); F10 (D-mannitol). Compound F1 is a new compound. Compounds F2,F3, F4 and F5 were first reported in this genus.2. Nine compounds were isolated from strain Y. They are Y1 (6,22-diene-3-hydroxy 5,8-epidioxyergosta); Y2 (ergosterol); Y3 (D-arabitol); Y4 (D-mannitol) and so on.3.
