Part one: Experimental study of the newly developed microwave coagulation equipment with "air-cooled" electrode in vivo and invitro liverObjectives:1. To investigate the basic irradiation conditions and characters of the"air-cooled" electrode in vivo liver2. To study the correlation of the power output, exposure duration and tissue temperature3. To investigate the coagulation lessons obtained by the microwave coagulation equipment radiologically and pathologically4. To evaluate the difference of the coagulation lessons obtained by electrodes of double irradiation in live swine liver under different conditionMaterials and Methods:1. Fresh pig liver was used to investigate the shape of coagulated areaand the sizes. The thermal change and coagulated area of different combinations of 40-80W power and 3min-5min irradiation duration were compared. The size of coagulated area and temperature of the shaft of the electrode are measured.
