| Basilar aneurysms and skull base tumors are the routine lesions in the anterior space of tentorial notch. It has traditionally been technically challenging because of the depth of the workspace and the critical structures that obstruct visualization of this area. With the advent of skull base techniques, many new approaches has em -erged as useful in managing lesions of the region. The operation mortality and morbiddity are decreased , tumors resection are changed better. It is importment to apply the natural spaces of vessles , nerves and brain to access to the lesions. It is necessary to study the anatomy change. In the study, we research the anatomic relat -ionship of the vessles nerves and brain stem and hypothalamus, we also performed three approaches on cadaver head specians . On the study, we disscued some nuanes to manag the lesions in the region. Three parts are fellowed:Part 1: Subjective To study the anatomic relationships of the nerves, vessles and brain stem and hypothalamus. Methods The anatomic relationships of the nerve , vessles and brain stem and hypothalamus, are observed and measured on 15 adult cadaveric brain specimens. Results The tentorum locates between cerebrum and cerebellum, its anterior margin is round midbrain and attaches to the petrous apex and the anterior and posterior clinoid process. The space between tentorium and midbain is named the tentorial notch space. It is called the anterior space of tentorial notch ahead. The oculomotor nerve is an imporment anatomical landmark in the region. The arachnoidal segment of oculomotor nerve, ICA and the posterior... |
