The Study On The Relationship Between BRMS1 (Breast-cancer Suppressor1, BRMS1) And Breast Cancer Metastasis

Part I:Expression of BRMSl mRNA in human breast cancer and theirsignificanceObjective To detect the expression of BRMSl mRNA in human breast cancer by RT-PCR and analysis the relationship between the expression of BRMS1 mRNA and clinicopathologic characteristics ,and investigate the significance of metastasis and prognosis for breast cancer.Methods With reference to the expression of β-actin, the expression of BRMSl mRNA was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR) in 71 breast cancer tissue and adjacent breast tissue, 12 benign breast tumors, 12 normal breast tissue ,Semi-quantitative of band densities was performed.Results BRMS1 mRNA expressed differently in 71 breast cancer tissue and adjacent breast tissue,they were 0.378±0.046,. 0.918±0.044 ; 12 benign breast tumors and 12 normal breast tissue were 0.908±0.047,0.934±0.038 respectively. Among them ,its expression of BRMSl mRNA in breast cancer tissue was lower significantly than that in adjacent breast tissue, benign breast tumors and normal breast tissue(p<0.05).
