| Objective:Investigation of both the protein expression of breast cancer metastasis suppressor 1(BRMS1) and nuclear factor kappa B(NF-k Bp50) in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN), cervical cancer and their role, clinical significance in cervical precancerous lesions and cervical cancer occurrence, development process.Methods:1. The immunohistochemical method(Super Sensitive TM IHC)was used to determine expressions of BRMS1 and NF-k Bp50 were in 32 chronic cervicitis tissue,21 CINI,25 CINII-III and 93 cervical carcinoma tissue. 2. Comparative analysis of the correlation and relationship between the expression of BRMS1 and NF- kappa Bp50 in cervical carcinogenesis with patients gender, age, FIGO stage, tumor size, histological type, depth of invasion, differentiation and lymph node metastasis and so on. 3. To analysis the staining intensity and relativity of BRMS1 and NF-k Bp50 protein in 93 cases of cervical cancer tissues by Spearman rank correlation analysis. Results: 1. The positive rates of BRMS1 expression were 13.98% in cervical carcinoma, 68.00% in CINII-III tissue, 71.43% in CINI tissue, 90.63%in chronic cervicitis tissue; the positive rates of BRMS1 in cervical carcinoma and CINII-III tissue were much lower than that in chronic cervicitis tissue(P<0.05),moreover the positive expressions were much lower or absent in cervical cancer tissue with IIb ~ IVstage, depth of invasion > 1/2 and with lymph node metastasis(P<0.05). 2. The positive rates of NF-k Bp50 expressions were 21.88%in chronic cervicitis tissue,38.10% in CINI tissue,36.00% in CINII-III tissue,74.19%in cervical carcinoma tissue; the positive rate of NF-k Bp50 in cervical carcinoma tissue was much higher than that in chronic cervicitis tissue(P<0.05),moreover the positive expressions were much higher in cervical cancer tissue with tumor size≥4cm, poor differentiation, depth of invasion>1/2 and with lymph node metastasis(P<0.05). 3. The positive expression was significantly negative correlation of BRMS1 and NF-k Bp50 protein in cervical carcinoma( rs= 0.4260,P<0.001).Conclusion: 1. Expression of BRMS1 protein decreased significantly, even missing in cervical carcinogenesis, with the increase of the depth of invasion, cervical cancer clinical stage nearly late and lymph node metastasis, the expression of BRMS1 protein decreased gradually, and it is closely related to cancer cell invasion, metastasis and clinical stage. 2. The expression of NF-k Bp50 protein in cervical cancer was significantly increased, with the lower cervical cancer differentiation, invasion depth increased, the tumor increases and lymph node metastasis, the positive expression of NF-k Bp50 gradually increased, and it is closely related to cancer cell invasion, differentiation, growth and metastasis. 3. The positive expression was significantly negative correlation of BRMS1 and NF-k Bp50 protein in cervical carcinoma(rs=0.4260,P<0.001). |
