Spine fusion is a commonly performed orthopedic procedure in spine operation, not only posterolateral spine fusion use of autologous bone grafting, ,but also intervertebre body fusion requiring the formation of new bone around the spine to increase its stability. Autogenous bone grafting is the gold standard for induction of a spine fusion. However, harvesting of autogenous bone graft (usually from the iliac crest) is associated with significant morbidity, blooding, nerve injure, durative pain and infection, Non-union, or the failure of stabilizing bone to form, it is still the major complication occurring in up to 26-35% of cases of posterolateral lumbar spine fusion, even in the patient with mechanical interventions devices, Non-union, or the failure of stabilizing bone to form rate is still 10%~15%.Allograft may be used, but usually only as an extender, as it is osteoconductive, but not osteoinductive, and, when used alone, results in poor fusion rates, and can cause disease spread and rejection . these drawbacks restrict Allograft using in clinical. The success application of gene therapy and tissue engineering in repairing bone defects give us a new way for improve Spine fusion rates .
