In this paper, two kinds of bone repairing materials: nano hydroxyapatite (n-HA), inorganic bone repairing material and nano hydroxyapatite/polyamide 66 (n-HA/ PA66), bone repairing composite material, were studied and compared with human femoral cortical bone more comprehensively and deeply. The results indicate that n-HA/PA66 composite is a kind of biomaterial with good biomimetic properties and bioactivity fiting for clinical use. It's the first time that human cortical bones in different sites of one body were compared in the morphology of bone apatite and in the composition, structure and trace elements content. The results show that for the same individual both load-bearing bone and none load-bearing bone have the same bone mineral content range between 60wt%-64 wt% and also the same content of Na+ and Mg2+ between 0.69 wt%-0.71 wt% and 0.26 wt%-0.30 wt%. The content of H2O in the load-bearing bone and none load-bearing bone is about 6.5 wt%. For both load-bearing bone and none load-bearing bone, the bone apaite is none-stoichiometric, the crystallinity is lower and the size range of that is φ 5 nm -10 nm×20 nm -50 nm, the molar ratio of Ca/P is 1.73. But compared with non-load bearing bone, the load-bearing bone is less mature and the content of K+ is far lower than that in none load-bearing bone. The bone apatite morphology of the load-bearing bone is closer to needle-shape and thinner, while that of non-load bearing bone is closer to rod-shape and bigger. The CO32- in the load-bearing bone is mainly A-type and the content is about 2 wt%, however, the CO32- in the none load-bearing bone is mainly B-type and the content is about 3.5 wt%.
