Background:Ovarian cancer is a common malignant disease in our country and its mortality rate is supreme in gynecological malignant tumour. The investigation of the mechanism on medicine therapy will provide us with new idea for clinical treatment of ovarian cancer. PPARγ is a subclass of nuclear hormone receptor that plays an important role in cellular transcriptional functions. While combining with its ligand, PPARγ could promote the transcription of target gene in nuclear.Data have demonstrated that the expression of PPARγ exists in a body of malignant tissues and cell lines, including adipose sarcoma, and cancers in colon, breast, prostate, lung and stomach. PPARγ could inhibit the proliferation of tumour cells and induce differentiation and apotosis via activation of its specific ligand. The application of PPARγ ligand could offer a high effective therapy with low adverse reaction. It remains to be investigated in ovarian cancer. Objective:This study was aimed to investigate the expression of PPARγ in normal...
