Objectives: Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumors. Onset of nasopharyngeal carcinoma is concealment and the prognosis of it is poor. It is crucial to search for nasopharyngeal carcinoma-associated antigens for diagnosis and treatment. Up to now, we application of serum in the serologic screening of the xenogeneic antigens has not been reported. In this research, we analyzed the Rat Testis cDNA expression library and the Xenopus laevis cDNA library using a modified SEREX (Serological analysis of recombinant cDNA expression library) approach to find the xenogeneic homologous tumor antigens which could be used to develop cancer vaccines. Methods : The screening serum was obtained from the human nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and 4 positive clones were isolated from the Rat testis cDNA library and the Xenopus laevis cDNA library by using SEREX technology.
