Transfer factors(TF) are dialyzable leukocyte lysate of human and other mammals mat have been sensitized. The studies dealing with TF as an immunoregulator have proceeded for about 40 years and TFs have been widely used in clinics. Since there are at least 200 different moieties in transfer factor, many efforts have been made to separate and purify its active component that mediate the antigen-specific immunity. However,up to now the chemical structure of TF remains unclear, and the solution of this problem lies in the separation and purification of the active components of TF.
