Many people take a great interest to the mechanism of prolifira-tion, differentiation and exclusion of the intestinal epithelia. Generally considered that these process are regulated by endogenous growth stimulation factors and growth inhibitors. In this paper main studied on growth inhibitor. Abroad presented the presence of inhibitory substance with biological activity for intestinal cell prolifira-tion in some animals. Do exist growth inhibitor in intestimal mucosa from dog? Do effect of this substance on tumor cell, specially intestinal tumor cells? These also have not been discribed. This paper reports crypt growth inhibitor (CGI) purificated from normal small intestinal mucosa of dog. The biological activity of ~3H-TdR incorporation into fresh cultured intestinal cells of BALB/c mice, The effect of CGI on injuried crypt repair by crypt survival of abdominal irradiated BALB/c mice. CGI acts on SW480 cells and products certainly effect.First, we homogenize small intestinal mucosa from normal dog.
