ObjectiveThe aim of this study, which is a part of the impact evaluation of the project of Cardiovascular Health Education Training Program for Health Care Professionals in the Community in China, is to evaluate the effect of intervention on knowledge, attitude and behavior (KAB) of Chinese physicians in hypertension, and to explore the fitting measure for health education in china.MethodsUsing an epidemiological quasi-experimental study design, the improvement of physicians' KAB in hypertension in intervention areas was compared with that in reference areas using serial cross-sectional studies.
