Establishment of three human hepatoaa nude mice models and radioimmunoimaging of hepatoma with monoclonal antibodies to human hepatocellular carcinomaThree human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cell lines PUHC-H1, SMMC-7721 and BEL-7402 have been successfully transplanted into nude mice(Balb/c/nu/nu). They have had through 9, 8 and 5 passages, and have lake rates of 80.77%, 75.76% and 66.67%, respectively. SMMC-7721 and BEL-7402 had distant subcutaneous metastatic rates of 8% and 6.25%, and lung metastatic rates of 16% and 8.33%, respectively. In addition, SMMC-7721 had lymph node metastatic rate of 4% ,and 4% of BEL-7402 at the 4th and 5th passages became cystic tumors. All three models showed characteristics of HCC on light and electron microscopy, and alpha-fetoprotein, HBsAg and HBcAb in the sera were negative. LDH isoenzyme spectra In PUMC-H1 and SMMC-7721 tumor tissues were similar to that of fresh fetal liver. All three kinds of tumor were recultured In vitro, and three cell lines PUMC-H1-N1, SMMC-7721-N1 and BEL-7402-N1 had been reestablished, respectively. The morphology of reestablished cell lines in culture were similar to that of cell lines prior to transplantation. PUMC-H1-N1 cells in vitro were reinoculated subcutan-...
