The Perioperative Information System

Objective:To establish a new method for auto-collecting, storing and treating all perioperative information. Method:By developing a "Perioperative Information System" software program, computer and network technology were used for collecting perioperative information, real-time collecting and storing patients' intra-operative parameters, and auto-charting and analyzing the information postoperative. Results:Through initial clinical test the software can achieve the following goals:1, Auto anesthesia recording2,Convenient, quick query and statistic analysis3,Artificial intelligence4,Convenient and efficient data-storing5,High quality printing6,Reliable safety and security for patients'information Conclusions:The system established a new concept dealing perioperative information. It ensures that the course of collecting and handling the patients' information is objective, accurate, integrated, convenient and quick. The result of initial clinical application is satisfactory.
