Recently, many studies have manifested that nerve growth factor (NGF) can promote not only peripheral nerve regeneration but also wound healing such as derivation inflammatory cells, increase secreting collagen and proliferation of epidermis. Using some extrinsic source growth factor (GF) is still one of the barriers to clinical usage. Because of the short demiperiod of GF and so many proteolytic enzymes in diffusate of wound, the effect of usage of GF is unsatisfied through local application or delayed release techniques. At the same time, the method of intravenous has many shortcoming such as larger dose, higher adverse reaction et al.. The concept of gene therapy can be utilized to settle this question. We can modify the target cells and make these cells persistently and stably secrete some kinds of GFs. So when we transplant these cells in local wound, we can provide enough and stable GF in situ and we can achieve the objection of high performance and reasonable using GF. The best selection of target cells is autoallergic cells because there are not the immunological rejections and can be used directly. But the limitation of the source of autoallergic cells, secondary lesion of obtaining these cells and the longer period of preparation has limited the usage of this technique. Recently,...
