Objective: To study the affection of Skin Wound Induced Gel(Product Name: repair) to woundhealing. There are many research reports of recombinant human epidermal growth factor onwound healing effect, but the skin wound induced gel on the wound healing effect has not beenreported. The experiment by comparison of skin wound induced gelation of experimental groupand normal saline control group effects on wound healing, in order to guide the clinical selectionof wound healing medicine.Methods: To establish an animal model of rabbit ear wound, 24 Japans round ear rabbits, maleor female, body weight between 2 ~ 2.5kg , single cage feed mixed feed. On the day before theexperiment, the 24 rabbits inside the root of emery cloth polishing, grinding area of 1cm x 1cm,grinding depth to wound with oozing of blood shall prevail. Each rabbit’s left ear wound use0.5mg repair, the right one use applicator saline, dressing once a day. To observe the rabbit earwound healing, 6 animals were killed in random every 3 days. Measuring wound area andproduction of pathological sections, to observe epidermis, dermis and epidermis adjacent smallblisters, collagen bundles and skin structure, epidermal regeneration. Chemical colorimetric inthe determination of hydroxyproline content, using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for thedetection of collagen. A total of four groups were observed.Result: The wound healing rate results show, and after the wound injured 3D, 6D,9D,12D,thetraceless group wound healing rate was significantly higher in bFGF group and saline group. Thedifference of groups was statistically significant ( P < 0.01).To observe the histological results, skin wound induced gelatin of the experimental groupin wound healing, capillaries, fibroblasts, and epithelial proliferation were obviously higher thanthe bFGF group and the normal saline after injured 3D, 6D, 9D, 12D.To observe the hydroxyproline content, after the wound injured 3D, 6D, 9D, 12D, therepair group was significantly higher than that the bFGF group and the normal saline, thedifference of the groups has statistical significance(P < 0.05).In the process of wound healing, to observe theⅠ/Ⅲwound healing collagen ratio, afterthe wound injured 3D, 6D, 9D, 12D, the repair group was significantly lowest than the bFGF group and the normal saline group, the difference of the groups has statistical significance(P <0.05).Conclusion: It could be concluded that the Skin Wound Induced Gel presents obvious effects onshortening the wound healing time and reducing the scar.
