Adult stem cells that have the self-renewal potential and multilineage differentiation capacity are the relevant cells in regenerative medicine and have attracted special attention, In recent years, adult stem cells from several adult tissues have shown promising therapeutic implications. And it is also very important to investigate alternative sources of adult stem cells. The stem cells of skin have been a focus of increasing intrest in current life science. Just as skin, the oral mucosa should have the stem cells in epithelium and lamina propria. And the sample from oral mucosa is more secret for patients than skin. However, documents or reports on oral mucosal stem cells are scarcely found, especially in stem cells from rabbit mucosa lamina propria. And the biological properties and the therapeutic implications of oral mucosal stem cells are not well known. It is known that wound healing is a complex process and during the healing process, different cell lineages are activated by the environment and required their collaborative efforts. And the niche is important for adult stem cells to keep the properties of stem cells or to be differentiation. It has been assumed that adult stem cells retain a high capacity for self-renewal throughout adult life and are ultimately responsible for tissue maintenance and wound repair. So as an alternative promising source of adult stem cells, wether similar properties with other adult stem cells is intresting. Due to the character of adult stem cells, it maybe have valuable for seeding cells.Besides, only the stem cells...
