Since stent implantation can effectively avoid blood-vessel elastic recoil and passive remodeling, the first implantation can significantly reduce the happening of restenosis, but the ration of in-stent restenosis still maintains between 7% and 37%. Therefore in-stent restenosisis is considered as an important problem to be solved during percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI).In order to find a new method to prevent and cure in-stent restenosis, the department of material of Chengdu Science and Technology University made an overall modification on surfaces of intravascular stent through PIII(plasma immersion ion implantation) .In vitro experiences proved that this new stent had a good ability of anti-coagulation and tissue-compatibility. On this basis, the research group will place stents into the aorta of a rabbit abdomen to observe the in vitro ability of anti-coagulation and tissue-compatibility of the stents.
